Who are we working for?

“Who are we working for?” Ephesians 6:5-9

I. Obey your masters with respect and fear.

A. Doing our job well is an effective witness for Christ.

B. Integrity at work matters ultimately to glorify Him by doing good works.

II. In Christ employers will seek the welfare of their employees.

A. The employer should seek his servants welfare in the “same way.

B. Intimidations by the way of threats is a poor leadership style.

III. In Christ slave sand masters look to God, not men for reward.

A. God rewards those who seek him (Hebrews 11:6)

B. God’s rewards are eternal (Matthew 25:14-30)

C. We will suffer loss if we don’t build carefully (1 Corinthians 3:9-15)
