There’s always something going on at Faith Evangelical Free Church Of Boyceville. Check our calendar often to keep up to date with things such as, what’s the next lesson, Men’s Breakfast, Moms in Prayer, Life Groups and Special Events.
This Saturday, Sept. 12 is our church work day. With Ruby Clark's memorial service at the church the following Saturday, let's come together and get our church looking clean & fresh.
We'll get started at 9:00 am - come when you can! Bring your own sack lunch.
Here's some jobs we hope to accomplish:
- put drywall on the new alcoves ( need 3-4 men)
- Old wall paper has already been removed and the walls are ready to be painted. We need a couple people willing to paint. Please bring paint clothes, paint tray, and brush. Drop cloths, rollers, rags, ladder will be provided.
Our church will be hosting the Celebration of Life for Ruby Clark will be on Saturday, September 19th at 2:00 PM with visiting with the family at 1:00. If you would like to greet the family before the service enter the church building through the west doors and exit through the south doors. We will try to keep a line moving through the building to minimize exposure. Face masks are preferred inside.
The Clark family has rented a large tent and chairs that will be set up on the front lawn for the service itself. Snacks will be served on tables outside after the service. We are expecting 200 to 300 people so will need lots of help in the following areas.
We need folks to make bars and individually wrap them.
Servers to put the bars out on tables outside and make coffee.
Parking lot attendants to help park cars.
Ushers to seat people and hand out programs.
If you can help with the snacks please let us know by responding to this email or let Darla Chich know how many bars you will bring. Thank you!
